Will a Magnet Stick to My Vehicle?
Magnetic signs need a clean, flat steel surface. They won’t stick to aluminum, fiberglass, or plastic panels. Many newer trucks, including Ford F-150s from 2015 on, have aluminum body panels.
- Test the spot with a fridge magnet before ordering.
- Measure a flat area clear of body lines, door handles, and deep curves.
- Apply to a clean, dry surface, and remove and wipe the magnet and vehicle weekly and before car washes.
